Welcome to the Buck Inn, a cosy family-run pub nestled in the the Yorkshire Dales National Park, surrounded by some of the most picturesque rural landscapes in the UK.
We are delighted to re-open from Wednesday 2nd December. A family run business, led by owner Karen, the Buck Inn offers 10-ensuite rooms, all individually designed with unique features to create a home-from-home feel, the perfect place to enjoy a few nights away. With cosy open fires for the winter and plenty of outdoor seating for the summer, whenever you visit you can be assured of a warm welcome and a wonderful stay at The Buck Inn.
Built in 1874 on the site of an old coaching inn on the Pennine way, The Buck is within walking distance of the enchanting Malham Cove, Malham Tarn, Janet’s Foss and Gordale Scar and has been featured on Julia Bradbury's Best Walks with a View and Adrian Edmonson's The Dales.
Whether you want a relaxing location for a romantic weekend, an energetic escape from urban life or just a treat for the family, Malham is the perfect choice with spectacular countryside within just a few minutes walk.
Our menus are currently being updated on a weekly basis, please contact us on info@thebuckmalham.co.uk if you would like a copy of our current menu.
The Buck is conveniently located in the centre of the village, and just a 30-minute drive from the A65. Guests looking to explore the local area are within an easy drive of historic market town of Skipton, known as 'the Gateway to the Dales' and home to Skipton Castle amongst other attractions. Bolton Abbey, Settle and Ingleton are a similar distance, offering sight seeing and leisure opportunities aplenty.
